Artist Bartholomaus Traubeck has demonstrated it is possible to elicit music from the patterns of the rings of a tree. By using some egghead thinking he designed a way for computer to read the rings of a tree and interpret it into the keys on a piano, then creating a melody. Gives a new definition to "Playing with the Wood"
