Fin de semana. Another week ending. Let's see what this weekend will bring. I'm hoping to update my music page add some more beats and other content so stay tuned.

I felt a bit nostalgic when i got to see the Space Shuttle Enterprise , slowy glide over downtown N.Y this morning, on its way to retirement. I can remeber vividly where i was when i saw the Space shuttle "Challenger" explode. I was walking on roosevelt ave in Queens on my way to some school i hated. I happen to look into one of the store windows i was passing and there was a t.v playing what looked to be what i thought was the outer rockets releasing from the main ship. However the smoke was all that was left of that ship. Most tradgedies advance technology however it happened more than once so i guess the obvous chice for them was to try a new design. So out with the old and in with the new as they say.  Anyway it was cool to see the shuttle on its way to retirement on the intrepid. it was cool to be caught in a New York moment.

Along with the overall mayhem that New York City has always been, there a certain things that will define the time like homeless people littering the street, the graffiti, the racism associated with Howard beach Queens, The Mob

The late 80's early 90's saw the "Hip Hop spring"

That alarming allure of un-Gulianized ghetto streets.  The inevitable unpredictable gunfire from a potential coke sale gone wrong.  Going to 125th after Grants tomb on a summers night and you would see a parade of black opulence. Fast money on display by drug dealer and hip hop artist lined up by the Apollo.  Girls they was hawking to be a pigeon in one of those coupes. Funny thing it now is a but gentrified but Harlem hasn't changed.

Happy #420 my friends.

On this day that so many brain cells will be burned. I once again dedicate my page to all things cannabis. Im sure the guys that lost their jobs over those Columbian hookers have one burning right now to soothe the pain. Damn a musical icon passed Dick Clark died of a heart attack but at least he lived the type of life you can only wish to live. If not for Dick Clack there would not have been a soul train or James Browns Dance show. Im grateful to be able to twist one and enjoy this Holiday I hope you will be able to join in or at least get a bit of second hand smoke. Peace im too lifted to finish this......
